I'm here to get edumacated.

Hey folks,

Been lurking here for a little while, and decided to say hello and make it official. I'm somewhat computer literate, as evidenced by me posting here, lol. Actually, I'm the guy my friends come to for answering their cpu questions, which makes me the one-eyed man in a room full of blind people. My goal is to get two eyes and have 20/20 vision (aka a computer genius).

I've never built a cpu before, but I've stuck my hands in one and done a few things. I'll try to read the forums and keep my dumb questions to a minimum.

See y'all around...

Don't worry about "dumb questions". Most of us have had questions at one time or another that we thought might be considered dumb, but they still get answered. I know I asked my fair share of those when I first got here (still do, occasionally). The thing is, if you're not 100% sure of the answer, then it's not dumb.

Oh yeah, welcome to forums!

Welcome aboard!

That's probably one of the better ways of learning about computers, reading the threads.
