Greetings all,

Seems I did things backwards, posting to the new builds section before introducing myself. Oh well.

I'm a software engineer in Silicon Valley. I know a bit about computers, but after reading some the posts on the boards I see its not nearly as much as I thought.

I was attracted to your forums when I saw that you folks actually seemed helpful and respectful, providing insights and wisdom rather than trashing someone for their lack of knowledge. I liked that a lot, and I've already steered another co-worker to your site... lets see if he actually comes around.
