Just found this happy place. Been involved with computers for a while. My first one was an old 8088 no hard drive just two 5.5 floppy drives.

Dinosaur it was but it was much better than the alternative of hunt and peck on an old IBM Selectric typewriter. An old fart I am but I keep current on everything.

I am also from Oregon and an Old Fart, and relatively new to this group. It is a great place full lots of good information. If you can spell Linux in any of it 300 + forms you get a bonus.
