sup guys and gals.

hi all,

i'm a single dad who never had built a computer before.
me and my son are starting a small project together soon, which will be a desktop for my son.
hope to get some great advise / guidance and learn from the more experience members.

Welcome aboard. I have found it very worthwhile spending time with my son building and making changes to computers as well.

Great idea!

When my boys were teens I gave them each all of the components to build a computer for Christmas and helped them build their first computers. They are both very computer savvy now and I think that had a lot to do with it.
