Newbie to this forum
I came here due to a link from the newsletter. I am slightly above a complete newbie when it comes to working on PCs. I have installed RAM, a secondary hard drive, a CD drive and a power source on various PCs over the past few years.
I've been using PCs since 1990 and Macs since 2001. I use both at work, but PCs at home. I came here because the newsletter had a link to Sarge's thread about stuff to give away. I've got a couple of PCs that I want to donate to a local youth group, but need to have them reformatted. One belonged to my mom, but it's got so many viruses on it. Unfortunately, it only came with a recovery drive, which is now empty. So, here I am. I'm sure I've got a lot to learn. |
