What system of Mandrake are you trying to install? You are right, there seems to be no disk four for mandrake, but on Linuxiso they mention that some people are having problems with MDK10.

From LinuxISO:
The 10.0 installer will ask for disk 4. The fourth disk is a bonus disk for club members and contributors to the distribution. It is not required to complete the installation, and you can safely hit Cancel when it asks for disk 4.

Instead of using the AIM program why don't you use a clone (like GAIM) it just a thought and if you would like more details just ask.

Do a install of the distro and worrie about the OPTIONS on disk 4 later. Choose a package that does not require disk 4. Chances are you can find the programs you want after the install.

You can download it from http://sourceforge.net/projects/gaim/

I think there is a linux version and I used to use it to talk on AIM.

One thing - gain is probably a typo, and you don't want to go looking for that. (Gator Advertising/Spyware)

If you just downloaded MAndrake 10.0 there should be a program called Kopete. Its alot like Trillian. You can login to AIM, MSN, Yahoo, IRC, ICQ individually at the same time.
