tadpole solaris laptops?
Are tadpole laptops any good? I don't really wan't to spend 3k on a ****ty 500mhz laptop just because it runs solaris. Can solaris run on the x86 architecture, in emulation mode perhaps? The laptop I have now is an old pcchips POS.

Just cos its 500 Mhz doesnt mean that it is not great; the Mhz is misleading, when you consider the processor its running. The answer of course depends on whether you need to use Solaris. Here's the x86 Solaris link: http://wwws.sun.com/software/solaris/x86/index.html |
