Lindows and SATA compatibility

I was thinking of setting up a new pc with windows xp and lindows. I want to get new WD raptor but i've been reading conflicting info about Lindows compatibility with SATA. Does anyone know if LIndows can be installed on SATA drive?

Thanks

Unless lindows is using the 2.6 kernel, it probably won't be sata compatible. It also might turn on what sata chipset you have. Support for intel's ICH5 sata chipset was just added to the 2.4.28-pre1 which came out two weeks ago while it's been included in the 2.6 kernel from the beginning. Mandrake 10 and suse 9.1 both use the 2.6 kernel as I believe does fedoracore2 so you could try those.
