Mandrake 10 won't dual boot with Windows

I just installed Mandrake 10 on an old 10.2gb Quantum Fireball HDD (set as master). XP is on my slave - an 80gb WD drive. I set the Linux drive as the master as I wanted the bootloader (Lilo) to give me a screen where it asked whether I wanted Mandrake or XP. In the Lilo configuration panal, I set XP's location as hdb1 (the only "hdb" that was there - although I think it only has one partition so that kind of makes sense). Anyway, when I now select XP it just goes to a DOS screen and hangs. How can I make it so it actually boots XP when I select it? (Should I try setting the XP drive as a master - has XP got a bootloader that could locate Linux?)

Thanks in advance!

What other boot disk choices do you have to select from for booting into XP?

There was no others. I had to create that one on the only partition on hard drive b (hdb1). I just tried loading with the OSL2000 boot program. When I select the two Linux options, the system just hangs in DOS, when I select the MBR for disk 2, I do get to the Lilo Mandrake boot screen but then when I select Mandrake from that I get "kernal panic: could not init" as it is loading.
