SUSE 9.1-half a screen, can't read desktop-pixelated
I was running SUSE 9.1 just fine but I had no sound so I was trying to fix it. It finds my sound card but can't activate it. I went into to my bios to turn the onboard sound and then saved my settings. I rebooted back into Linux and my screen was cut in half, pixelated, unlegible. HOw do I go fixing this mess?
I am new user so please keep that in mind when giving suggestions

When you first boot into SuSE I believe you get an option to press F1 0r F2 to get into help. From there you may have an option to reconfigure your screen resolution.
