Disabled networking at startup & now dual boot XP won't boot

Hello, I've recently joined the Linux world via Mandrake 10. I successfully set up a dual boot using Lilo between Mandrake and Windows XP Home SP1. I was getting the "loading interface eth0 failed" error as I was booting so I was advised to change my settings via "Networking & Internet" -> "Manage Connections" setting to disabling "start at boot".

Since doing that, Windows XP won't boot. It gets to the splash screen with the green bar then eventually just reboots the system. I could get it running when I boot to safe mode (no networking) so I figured that disabling my network card in Linux must have messed it up somehow. I re-enabled "start at boot" in Linux but I still have the same problem with XP! I ran safe mode in System Restore but that didn't fix it. Neither did the "boot last known good configuration" option. Can anyone help?

I'm using a P4P800 Deluxe with onboard 3Com gigabit networking. Thanks in advance!
