Setup Verizon DSL in Linux
Does anyone know how to setup Verizon DSL on a Linux System? I am using Mandrake 10.0 with a Westell 2200 Modem provided by Verizon.
Thanks, b-pap |

Just to post a solution to my own question in case someone has the same issue at some point in the future. Getting this to work in Linux with the Westell 2200 connected by USB is very difficult if not impossible. The easy solution is to purchase a $5-10 ethernet card. A list of compatible cards can be found here:

If I may suggest, write a quick email to Westell Tech Support requesting Linux drivers. If enough people demand it, they will write a generic driver for it.
