Dual OS system
I'm currently running WinXp home on the system in my sig. I got a 12gig Quantum Fireball drive out of an old computer and decided to install it. I copied the 500mb of files that were on it to my new drive (rediculously fast I might add, it's a speedy little thing), and I'm ready to format it. I want to install Linux on the drive so I can run my computer with Linux and Windows. I also want to be able to choose the os at startup. Does anybody know of a good tutorial on how to do this?

The distribution should do everything for you. Just tell it where windows is, and it will set up a program (lilo, or grub) so that you can select the os at startup.

If you want to use Redhat, there is a ton of good info here. It may also be worth it to make a fat32 partition on one of your drives so you can have joint access between XP and RH.
