Angry forgotten root passwd for Redhat linux

Guys
i have forgotten the root password on my linux machine. What can i do?

I don't think there is much that we can do to help you with that problem, except to suggest that you format the hard drive and do a complete reinstall.

one of the great features of linux is the security of its root passwords, if you forget it, your done.

and this is just my personal opinion.

Sorry we do not allow questions of trying to bypass system security. Chalk this up to experience, and make sure you don't remember the root password anymore.
