Mail client and Board monitoring in SuSE 9.2 and KDE 3.3
I use SuSE Linux 9.1 (ready to update to 9.2) with KDE as default desktop, and i'd like to have a mail client to view my mail in a hotmail account, just as i did with Outlook in windows. Does anybody any good client with HTTP mail servers suport?
Also i'd like to install an utility to view my CPU and motherboard temps. Does anybody know an app for doing this? Thanks! Last edited by jesusrop; 03-05-2005 at 05:34 PM. |

I havent looked into using HTTP with mail clients in depth, but a few months ago, I was reading how people were using a program that would act as a POP to HTTP protocol converter/proxy... If you google it, you'll find it since its a common question.
There's several ways to monitor CPU and Motherboard temps, but I believe the most common way is to use lm_sensors available at: http://www2.lm-sensors.nu/~lm78/ I tried to install it on my Slack box from source, but it was giving partially correct data... Mike |
