Resize an 8E Partition?

So I didn't allocate myself a large enough partition when setting up FC3. No problem, I figure I'll just boot into XP, shave 5GB from another partition with PM, and add it to my Linux partition. I don't have the option in PM to resize the 8E partition.

I have 5GB of unallocated space I'd like to throw in with my / partition.

How?

8E appears to be LVM partition... LVM is typically used in software raid, is this the case with your setup? If not, you might be able to get away with using a utility called FIPS that will non-destructively resize most types of partitions... but as always, back everything up!
