does any 1 know the format code 4 linux? plez

If you mean the format code #'s for selecting a filesystem in fdisk(linux ver),the main ones are these:
ext2=83
swap=82
linux extended=85
If you run fdisk and type L,a list of the filesystem codes will appear on the screen.Hope that's what you needed.
