SCSI and Linux (Not dirty linux)

Sorry for the bad pun in the subject. I just wanted to know if anyone has had any positive or negative results with scsi in linux, or BSD for that matter. I'm running a SCSI Zip Drive on another box, and probably a scanner soon, so I would Ideally like to get both of these items up and working. Any recommendations?

unless you have a weird controller, you should be OK...for the scanner, you might want to make sure it's supported under SANE, XSANE's makes that pretty painless, too:
