loading linux

yesterday my hard drive crashed today That is my iam writing this at school i gota buy a new one today and wanted to install linux how would i go about how would i boot. i dont have the xp program

yeah, i responded to your original post in general hardware, for future linux related posts, post em here. Much more linux knowledge here than in hardware as linux is software, and an alternative operating system.
