mandrake linux password
i have a password on my mandrake, but i never asks me for it--just boots up to my desktop. if i log out and back in it asks for it--but i want it to ask everytime it boots. im running mandrake 10.0, thanks.

Did you create another user during the install process? Or are you running as root?
If you did not, simply create another user and the problem should go away.

You have some kind of "auto-login" enabled. I know SuSE does this by default also. I am not familiar with Mandrake, but I belive (since it is RedHat based) it uses gdm. If you type : gdmsetup at the prompt, you should be able to control who auto-logon's
