Linux FTP server?

I have an old computer I would like to turn into an ftp server so I can access files remotely. I am just unsure of what version of Linux to use and what FTP software I can use that will allow me to make multiple user accounts w/ passwords. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Any 'nix OS has a couple of FTP server programs included, right off hand proftpd comes to mind. So if your accustomed to linux then any distro will work, If your new to linux I would suggest mandriva(Mandrake), SuSE, or Fedora are good for starters.

Good luck, and hope this helps

Mike
