I am currently running Linspire five and boy its good i am totally new to the world of Linux and i find this OS dead easy there are only few quiies that I have one is
1) how do you do a screen dump in Linux i have tried pressing print screen button nothing happens. 2) Is there a Video editing software that I can Used in Linux which is like Microsoft movie maker. |

I've never done it on a *nix box...but I know the big one everyone talks about. It's called Cinelerra. Not really for end users though. That is the real deal Hollywood stuff.
The ones you should try out are: Virtualdub: http://www.virtualdub.org/ Kino: http://www.schirmacher.de/arne/kino/index_e.html MJPEG tools: http://mjpeg.sourceforge.net/ or MainActor: http://www.mainconcept.com/ One of those should suit your needs fine. HTH

wow i have just found it on Linspire CNR and its cool . man Linux has move a long way since the good old days of Unix system
