Unhappy Application Serving

Can anyone point me in the direction of good software that I could use on a Linux application server. I'm talking about windows apps (word, office, etc). I know that WINE exists but I'm finding it hard to locate any documentation (surprise).

Can somebody point me to a site(s) that would have resources like that?

Thanks

did you check out the WINE homepage? it has a lot of good stuff, but the application database seems to be down....it used to be somewhat cool, but half the comments where useless, no really good explanations about how the got whatever app to work if they did anything special, just that they did.

seems a bit messy to try to use WINE for anything mission critical, though.
