network on knoppix
hi,
knoppix just can't detect my network card (3Com Gigabit LOM (3C940)). when i type ifconfig i only saw the loopback address, not the ethernet card. could it be because i am connected on a router? i am using LINKSYS WIRELESS B router. the led on the router don't light unlike in windows... what must i do then?

try ifconfig -a and see if your interface is there, but inactive
