Need help creating a live CD for linux
I'm having trouble creating a live CD, i downloaded knoppix, burned it and booted with my d:/ and it just booted up windows like usuall.
do I just burn the .iso file to the CD or do i need to do something special? I tried only botting the CD drive and i went to windows, and I put the CD drive above all the other bootable devices, smae thing. Anyone know what the problem is? when you told it to burn, did you actually burn the image, or put the image on the disc. IE, did you (assuming nero) hit burn image or did you just put the iso file onto a data disc?
you need to burn it as an image in nero, go to recorder -> burn image craig
