three operating systems

hello people.can i run three operating systems, and what would be the setting on the hard drives? master ,slave ,ect; also thanks again to all those who have responded to my previous threads.

Does each HDD have its own O/S?

yes. i plan to have three seperate drives. would like to get an ide card.

The HDDs would be installed like any other drives.

Make sure that when you install the O/S's that you start with the oldest first and progress to the newest.

For example,
98SE on C:, 2000 on D: and XP on E:

force flow. should i set them all at master? and can i still use the same operating system such as windows pro on two of them?

I think you set them to Cable Select. However I don't know how that would work with the third drive. Are they going to be IDEs or SATAs?

If you can use 80 wire IDE cables and set all the drives to cable select, put the first or main drive on a black plug and the other two on the grey plugs with the blue plugs going to the motherboard or IDE controller card.
I am using this boot loader which allows you to install and select a number of different OS's:

is this a 40 pin ,80 conducter cable? also one drive will be a sata, the other two will be seagate 120 gb.the first one is on windows xp pro right now .

You can use any drives and either SATA, IDE, or both.
