Linux Audio Plugins
Im having a problem getting Ubuntu to play mp3's do to the lack of a suitable audio plugin. I would apt-get the plugin but ubuntu doesnt recognize my wireless card either. Anyway I am wondering if I would be able to boot-up mandrake and copy all its audio plugins on to my usb drive and transfer them to Ubuntu and then copy and paste them into Ubuntus audio plugin folder. Would this work?

What application will you use the plugins for, or what is the file format?
If it is Rpm or deb you can install whithout the cut and paste. Tell me more about what you wish to do.
