SUSE LINUX problem

I tried downloading the smallest linux file on this page (200 mbs or something) because I wanted linux on my older PC but I just have a bunch of files and most of them don't work (well they ask me what to open them with) what do I do?

First, I'd run the file through a MD5 Sum checker, just to make sure you have every bit of that file. You can get one at download.com.

Then, the file is in the format of .ISO, a CD image. Open up your favorite burning software and burn the entire CD image. Look for an option in the menus up top. Then pop the CD in your CD tray, reboot, set BIOS to CD boot, and your off.

^fo

EDIT:
In Nero, go to Recorder up top, then 'Burn Image'

In Roxio, go to File up top, then 'Record CD from Image'
