Midi drivers/plugin

Can't seem to get a midi driver for my Enxoniq sound card in Linux (Mandrake 8) and I'm not sure if there is one.
I'm also looking for a midi plugin for Konqueror/Netscape, similar to Crescendo.

Send a message via AIM to Xayd
As far as the plugins go, go to 'about:plugins' in Netscape and it'll show you what plugins are installed and also give a link to the Netscape plugins download page.

OK, that sorted that out. No midi support in Linux for my sound card.

Next question. Why is it so damn difficult to install something as simple as a theme? The theme installer will only recognize a file format ending in .ktheme and all the themes I've found and downloaded don't have any files in the .gz that end in that. The closest is .themerc
I've tried fooling the installer by duplicating and/or renaming things, but the stupid installer (in KDE) won't install anything.
Am I stupid, is my install of Linux/KDE screwed up, what?
The software manager is totally useless, I can click on anything all day long, every single button, option, even search for something I know is there, and nothing, absolutley nothing, no files listed, nothing to install, squat.
I've tried the package installer as well, with a couple of things downloaded from linux.tucows.com and EVERY SINGLE one has an error, either "unexpected 'e in file", or something equally obscure.

My old install of Mandrake 7 didn't cause half the hair loss that this does.

hmmmm, are you trying to install from RPM, or are you compiling from source? you might want to grab the sources, I've never liked the idea of RPM, myself.

what errors are you getting?
