Sharing Linux Swap space ?
I am using booitng to partition my system and installing 3 distros of Linux. They are Debian, Fedora and Mandriva linux.
I was wondering if I can share the same Linux swap partition between all 3 ?? Or do I really need to have 3 partitions of swap space for each distribution of linux ?? Thanks |

Those three will detect the existence of a swap partition and use it. All three can share one swap partition.

The swap between Linux also plays nice with BSD's etc or most other NIX, if you ever get around to trying them. There are other partitions you can share quite nicely as well.
