Question One particular account cant get mail

Guys

I went to support a client who has problems downloading mails from a Linux server. The are a lot of accounts on his system but the problem is with this particular account.

1. Cant download maills from Linux server to outlook express takes forever.
2. Cant access the account through webmail.

Actions taken so far

1.Deleeted and recreated the account ( to no avail)
2. Tried creating an account it worked perferctly
3.Contacted PCmech forum.

Any ideas

and how they've got it set up. mail for a real user or virtual user, first? there are lots of things that could cause someone to not get mail.

best thing to do first is check the logfile from the mail server immediately after sending mail to the account in question, and see what it says. it's probably /var/log/maillog or some similar logfile.
