RAID on Linux

I'm installing Mandriva 2006 64 bit version on my computer with RAID 0 and an SLI motherboard. The motherboard is an Asus A8N-SLI Premium. The SLI isn't the big problem, but after installation finishes and it reboots it gets to the GRUB screen, but when it load, it just hangs. Could it be a problem with the RAID? If so, is there a way to install the drivers beforehand.

Also for the SLI, I have two 7800 GTXs, so I tried it as GeForce 6800 and the preset VESA, but neither seem to work. What would be the best choice?

Thanks in advance.
