mandrake 10.1 local host login
I am really new to mandrake to start off!

but i am stuck at the localhost login screen i have the root pass but not a user pass (this is a borrow system from a friend who is trying to sell the laptop to me) i cant get to the graphical desktop screen where i want to be please help
