SUSE Printing
I have 2 computers sharing a Linksys Router. I want Suse to be able to access an HP Laserjet 1072 I have set up on a windows XP computer as a Shared Network Printer. Is there a way to do this?
What kind of services or protocols should I use? Using Suse Release version 10, (KDE). Last edited by eggbtr; 12-31-2005 at 01:37 PM. |

I am going to try to set up the printer on the linux box and see if Windows can see it. I may have to play with the permissions a bit.

I think you can use the samba configuration
1 setup printer and file sharing on windows setup a network resource user name and a password 2 setup samba client from yast and enter the user name and password for the resource if my memory serves me right. |
