Accessing Yahoo Mail and Groups in Linux

I have tried these before, with two distros of Linux, Fedora 3 and Ubuntu Breezy Badger..I first installed Fedora 3 and tried to access my e-mails and groups at Yahoo, but I could not log in..Same is true with the Ubuntu..Is there a tweak or some sort of reconfiguring the Linux system to enable me access my e-mails and groups?

I've never had a problem getting to Yahoo Mail in Ubuntu on Firefox. What error message does it give you?

You were using browser based webmail and not using pop right? If you were having an issue with pop3 this might help. http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/mail/pop/pop-03.html

If you are having an issue with webmail, the error message would probably help, but I haven't seen anything like this before. HTH

I think the key is that you have to enable javascript and cookies for a few subdomains at Yahoo. I'm paranoid about cookies, and I usually leave them off and make exceptions for sites that really need to use them.
