Lost LILO!!
I had Win98 installed on my first hard drive, on the second I installed RedHat Linux. It was coming up with LILO fine and i was able to type in dos or linux
The IDE cable or power cable fell out of the second drive (and I didn't realise) I turned on my machine and when it came to boot it said 1010101010101010101001010101010101010101001010 (I could go on ) and this happened until I thought I would refresh the MBRI did fdisk /mbr and it booted to Windows only, fine. Now when I plugged the second drive back in, I only get windows. No LILO comes up at all. I haven't done that much on Linux so far so it's not a big problem if I have to reinstall, it would just be a pain in the arse. Is there any way I can get back my LILO dual boot without reinstalling Linux? Thanks,

Use your boot disk that you made during installation. That will allow you to run /sbin/lilo from root. If you didn't make a boot disk, I think you can set your Bios to boot from the CD and the 1rst installation CD will allow you to do the same thing.
OOPS!

I haven't tried RH since 6.2, but when you get to the point when the screen says to hit enter to start the install, it should also give you the option to boot to FailSafe mode. There should be some text on the screen explaining which key to hit. If I remember right it is the F1 key. Good Luck!
