dhcp server?
How many Nics would I need if I'm using my computer as a dhcp server?
P.S. I'm using debian as the operating system. |

Are you using the computer as a router too? If so, then you would need two: one to go to the outside world Internet connection (like your cable or DSL modem), and one to go to the switch and the rest of our LAN. If it is not a router, then all you need is one.

"Interface="eth1" " is what I use when I'm using for dhcp3-server, but it's telling me there is no interface listed for it to listen on. My dhcp server is using a static address of 192.168.1.90 and everytime I run dhcpd3, it tells me to declare a subnet in the dhcpd file. Anyone have any suggestions on what the problem may be?
