greedo Is it true?

I've never tried a MAC OS, but I had tried a little bit of a couple of versions of linux and I couldn't verify that because I had many problems with the software and hardware.

I always hear that Linux and Mac OS don't crash like Windows. Is it true? Never crash? Or they have a lower percentage of crashing than Windows? And how much lower is that percentage?

After owning Macs forever and PCs only within the last decade, I can say that they crash about the same nowadays. If you keep your system running clean and smooth you will rarely freeze up. Windows 2000 and XP have been solid runners for me, and Mac OS X has kernel panicked less times than I can counted on one hand. The only time my Windows machine freezes is in mid-game, and half the time it's the game's fault.

You can just get the best of both worlds, wait for a PowerMac running an Intel chip and install Linux, MacOS X and Windows on it.

I guess it would all depend on the user. Someone who knows what they are doing on windows will probably have less crashes as someone who using linux who doesnt have a clue. Hardware also has an affect. A pc with bad ram for example will crash a lot no matter what os it is running.
The software running on top of the OS is often the cause of a crash (and people will usualy blame the OS even so.)
Although people always say windows crashes more often (which may be true in many cases) it would be hard to measure the amount of time each OS crashes because it all depends on many, many factors.
It may also be safe to say that windows usualy crashes more often because windows has more computer illiterate users (although that is just a guess)
