Ubuntu help
Hi;
I'm trying to rip my audio CD's into my newly installed Ubuntu system, and the CD Drive keeps ejecting the disk partway through ripping or even playing the music. It does it with Sound Juicer and K3B. I think it's a system problem, but I can't find any settings to shut off an auto-eject or anything. Anything I can do to fix this? |

I did--the only reply I got was to switch to K3B--same problem.
I've even tried reformatting the disk and reloading Ubuntu--the problem isn't program specific. Even when I close the programs completely it just ejects for no apparent reason. Thanks, though. |

Have you tried a different CD drive?

Also try shutting down the autoplay function and see if that helps
