Solaris operating sytem (sun)

I am not sure where I got this from It was no doubt very cheep me being cheep & I got what I paid for can't get online with it seems very dificult to use. But now that I have on my machine would like to trry it. If anyone would have a idea how to navigate to where I can enter my ISP info would I be very grateful. I only know enough about computers to be dangerous.

If your knowledge of computers is limited then I recommend that you start out using a Windows OS because things are a lot more user friendly. An inexperienced user will undoubtably struggle with Solaris!

Its not the easiest system to use, but whats the fun in easy? Which OS did you install? Solaris 10 or OpenSolaris? Either way, Solaris is an awesome system. If you really want to learn it, you wont regret it. If you dont really want to learn, uninstall it right away.

I found this tutorial, I think its what you need. http://solaris-x86.org/documents/tut.../network.mhtml
