Question Saved settings on reboot

Hi, I am currently using Ubuntu 6.06 (am a noob with it) and my question is: is there a setting that can make all the windows that are up before a reboot to show again after the reboot? I've worked with other Linux distros before and I know in some that setting's already configured. I can't find a way in Dapper Drake to do so though. Is anybody knowledgeable enough in this distro who can tell me? It's annoying to have to keep track off all my stuff by myself.

Hi,

Don't know why they don't put this in the menu, but,,,,, Open the Terminal, and type, "gconf-editor" (without "")

hit enter

click on apps--gnome-session--options

Tick or untick auto_save_sesson box

Close out and enjoy!

Hey, that worked great. Along the line of messing with the OS, I happened to come across System > Preferences > Sessions and did some configuring there too, but your method showed more options. Thanks!
