OS X on a regular computer?
Can it be done? Legally? If Apple is providing users with BootCamp, allowing Mac users to run Windows on their machine, why can't you buy a copy of OS X and stick it on any given laptop?

Alright, I didn't think so, but I hoped. How different is Panther from Tiger? I'm finding that the ibooks in my price range are loaded with Panther instead of Tiger. Should I wait and find one with Tiger, or would it be cost effective to get one for $400 and upgrade it myself.
