Wireless Networ Adapters
I have Just installed Ubuntu on an old laptop and want to network it. the laptop has no lan port but i have a 3com USB wireless adapter.
Does anyone know of a reason why this would not work? and how do you get it to work as i connot seem to install it? Thanks!! PS this is my first install of any linux |

You really need to post the exact model of the adapter - we can't do anything without knowing that.
