google analytics not working with ubuntu/firefox

i was running ubuntu 6.06 and noticed that whenever i visited google analytics none of the text was showing up. i did some googling and found that the problem was because of msttcorefonts not being installed. so i installed them and it worked fine

skip ahead - i made the upgrade to 6.10 and the problem returned. i reinstalled msttcorefonts hoping that was the issue. i have not found anything specific to Edgy that would cause this problem, so i am hoping someone else running Edgy has a fix for this

thanks in advance for any help
craig

edit: found the problem. turns out flash needed to be updated as well. apparently during the upgrade, thats not something the carried over

Any of the Non-Free plugins/utilities such as flash or Nvidea released drivers need to be reinstalled after every distro upgrade.

Glad to hear it!
I haven't gone back (on my primary home machine) in almost 2 years now. If all you do is Internet/Email/Music/Movies (which is all I really need at home), Ubuntu can't be beat.
