Knoppix Live DVD
I have downloaded the Knoppix Live DVD which contains open office etc. I can get the DVD to boot to the "start" screen, the problem is when it starts to load it says it cannot find: /cdrom/knoppix/modules/(can't remember).ko
Then it will say limited options available. Is there something I need to do to convince it to run? |

Sounds like the CD didn't burn (or the iso didn't download) correctly...
Try burning another disk, or checking the iso file against its MD5 checksum? |

The DVD checks out as good.
Any Suggestions? Let me clarify what happens: Knoppix does boot to the Knoppix start up screen and then asks if I want to run the Live DVD, then I get the error message. Last edited by kbkatz; 02-17-2007 at 10:22 AM. |
