Format Linux

How do I format a drive with linux on it? Keep in mind I can't get linux to load, so I need for wipe the drive.

If you are going to reload Linux, then just reboot with your Linux CD and go at it again. If you are going to load windows , Then get a win98 boot disk, run fdisk, and choose remove non-dos partions. Then create new dos partions, make one primary and active and go.

Make sure you remove any bootloader you may have installed.

When you reload windows, won't it automatically over write the MBR?
