Poolscorp,

welcome to pcmech. its a bit easier to read the post if you don't write in caps-lock.

in response to your question, you cannot legally obtain a copy of OS X to install on non-apple hardware. if you want to run OS X, you are going to need to buy a computer from them

yes, you can purchase it, you just cannot install it on your own hardware. Apple can provide better support if they can limit the hardware used.

You can't legally install OS X on non-Apple hardware.

We cannot discuss how to illegally install it in these forums, but Google "osx86 project".

As hobey indicated, you can purchase the software separately but it will only work on Apple branded equipment. It is intended as an upgrade from previous Apple OS's.

moderator note: amdalex, I deleted your comments as they contributed nothing to answer the OP's question and could be deemed inflammatory. Last thing we need is an opinion war.

I'm sure it's possible, In fact it has been done, but you would have to build a machine using the same specs that Apple use, ie; if you use a video card the apple doesn't use in one of it's machines, you won't have a driver available to you. Same for mobo, chipset etc... So yes, theoretically you could do it but would it be worth the while?.
