Triple Boot?
I currently have two partitions on my "C" drive with a dual boot of Win 98 and Win 2k. Can I have a triple boot and include Linux. If so tell me how.

Make a 3rd partition.
Install Linux. Lilo will install, giving you a dual-boot menu of "Linux" and "windows". If you choose Windows, you will then get the other boot menu you're used to seeing. I currently run 4 OS's, with Linux installed last, and that's what happened on my MBR. Lilo "found" the boot.ini file, and added it to the menu. FYI, if anyone is interested, I'll be dumping 95 and 98 and ME on ALL my systems, in favor of XP (corporate), and going back to a dual-boot XP/Linux. |
