Ogle
I tried to install Ogle, but it said there was conflicting software already installed on my computer. It said to go to the Synaptic Package Manager to fix it.
I have no idea where to go from there. I know where the Synaptic Package Manager is, but I don't know how to use it. Any suggestions. Thanks in advance. |

Hi,
I'm assuming you're using a Debian based distro and that you downloaded Ogle from a website. To use Synaptic, just open it up. Then click on the search button on the tool bar. Enter the program name you are searching for and select the type of search you want. If it's in your repo's, it will find it. Check the box to select it, click apply and it should install. OOPS!

Thanx, is that all? I thought I was going to have to do some sort of scan and uninstall the conflicting software. Thanks a bunch!
