Bootcamp to Parallels? Or Vice Versa?

I've been wondering about this lately...

I just picked up a macbook the other day and I need to run Windows XP for a couple of programs that don't have a mac equivalent. I know that I can choose between Bootcamp or Parallels, but if I try Bootcamp first and don't like it, will I be able to uninstall my OEM version of Windows and then install it under bootcamp? Or will I need two copies of Windows XP?

Just one copy of XP is fine. Your hardware doesnt change just because you reinstall your OS and you wont have any issues.
OTOH you can just install XP without the CD key for activation and try it for a few days before activating it.
